And a River Ran Through it.

After dinner we went to a park and went for a walk.
There was a very small river.
A stream really.
Davis said, "I have a gold pan in the trunk of the car!
Can I gold pan?"
So he did.

Easter.

I know Easter was yesterday.
I found this poem today.

"Empty Linen"

The linen which once held Him is empty.
It lies there,
Fresh and white and clean.
The door stands opened.
The stone is rolled away,
And I can almost hear the angels singing His praises.
Linen cannot hold Him.
Stone cannot hold Him.
The words echo through the empty limestone chamber,
"He is not here."
The linen which once held Him is now empty.
It lies there,
Fresh and white and clean
And oh, hallelujah, it is empty.

Spring Snow.

For days it's been so lovely.
No need for a jacket, even.
This is what we woke up to this morning!

Here are some other things I love:

I want to play with the seals now!
Love me some pink!
I would LOVE a studio like this!
I love the Small Cool Contest
at Apartment Therapy.
Except for the cardboard deer head.
So much to love here.
And so much here too.

Another Walk.

We went for another walk last night.
It was so beautiful.
Not as quick and easy time at bedtime
but yesterday was his best day in months!
So I'll take that and be glad!

Out for a walk.

We went out for a walk last night.
It was just a ten minute drive.
Beautiful but only a little bit cold.
Davis walked or ran so far in front of us.
We then went to get yummy frozen yogurt
just the four of us.
He was so tired when we got home
that he fell asleep
almost as soon as his head hit the pillow.
No panic, no complaining, no restless turning.
I think we'll walk every single evening from now on.

Provo Canyon.

On Friday, Davis and I met Britni for lunch,
dropped something to Jeff's work
and drove up the canyon
and went for a walk.
It was such a beautiful day!
