These great pictures were taken by Britni (who by the way is now in Alaska).

I attended some of Women's Conference on Thursday and Friday. Both days were busy and I had to be home early for my family. The little I did attend was great and I was able to spend some time with my dear friend, Susan (we met while we both lived in Florida and now we both live in Utah).

Women's Conference is good for many things and one of them is being reminded of what is important in life. Here are just a few gems:

Just to be, is a blessing.
Just to live, is holy.
Rabi Heschel (he didn't speak at the Conference--someone quoted him)

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.
Sir Thomas Aquinas (some say it is a saying from Jesus---beautiful--no matter where it is from)

A light heart lives long.

Carpe diem! Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day; live life to the fullest; make the most of what you have. It is later than you think."
Horace (Roman Poet 65 bc-8 bc)

Now, I'm off to get ready for the day and hopefully paint up a storm!

Carpe diem!

Carpe diem! Even though I seldom leave the house, being the recluse that I am, I too love the day I'm in and try to fill it. You fill them with love and beauty.
